2008 Inaugural "AngiArts" Comic Strip

An Art Zealot with Superpowers from the Art Gods!
An Adventurous Muse for Artistic Inspiration!

She’s an immortal art zealot with superpowers from the art gods, who flies around on her magic, red theatre carpet fulfilling the missions of her destiny--to instill artistic inspiration and goodwill into the hearts of all peoples of the 3rd millennium and beyond!  She lives amongst the peoples and appears where ever “genie-magic” is needed.  It is her destiny to rally the arts and to inspire all peoples to discover the angel of their souls.  “AA” makes artistic inspiration happen with her 5 genie-supertools to enter into a “classroom of self-discovery.”   While there, arouse creative imagination in order to live one’s true identity every day.

                           The Ideology of “AngiArts”

  • Ideals that include the goodness of heart that artistic creativity and goodwill bring to the souls of all peoples.
  • Ideals of humor, fun, wit and excitement
  • Ideals of fantasy and charm that involve a reality escape into the depths of our souls
  • Ideals that promote the expansion of literature, culture, and artistic values to our youth

The Identity of “AngiArts”  narrates her fairy-tale life and tells an origin story of where she came from and how she got here; Who she is today and why she landed in downtown Orlando.  In addition, this modern-day legend fabricates the fantastic reality of a 21st Century, comic-book-style, cartoon character for the Arts.

This vintage, letterbook storybook was written to be read while relaxing on a picnic blanket on the shores of the beautiful Lake Eola.  It stages an interactive, literary theatre experience like no other.  Your mission is to ponder a moment of soulful self-prophecy, while embarking on a personal quest for artistic inspiration.

Engaging comical fantasy and referencing current events in the city, the 2008 inaugural publication of the “AngiArts” Comic Strip at the end of the book rallies Orlando’s performing arts and events centers, highlighting the magnificent Dr. Phillips Performing Arts Center (DPAC)---Grand Opening happened on November 6, 2014.
